Over at Tiny Shiny Apps, they’ve posted a list of features comparing TapLynx and Appmakr. There are succinct and fair observations, and they’ve done a good job of pointing out some of TapLynx’s best features, such as the fact that you as the developer have full control over your app. They also note how TapLynx performs better and places no restrictions on the developer once TapLynx is in your hands.

I've had it confirmed by AppMkr that the cost of republishing is going to be $49 USD. So if you publish an app using their system (and yes, I did find their online tool easy to use), if you need to make any chnages in the future (be it 1 or more at a time) they will charge $49 USD to run through the publishing process again….and again….and so on, with each change. This is for the scheme where they publish under their name, not yours.

My 1st impressions of the iPad are very positive. My computer has been REALLY slow lately. Both the internet and the desktop are annoyingly slow. It’s a PC and it’s not new, but I’m not sure how old it is. We’ve had it for 3 years and before that, my aunt had for at least 4 years. I defragment it and do the disk cleanup regularly. And it has a lot of free memory left (it’s like 75% of the computer’s total memory is free). I have an up-to-date anti-virus program on it (BitDefender), and it runs scans on it, and has NEVER found a virus. All of the fire-walls are up and running. What could be wrong with my computer??
